Iza Ding is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Judd A. and Marjorie Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern University. Her research uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods to understand two political problems that she believes are becoming more challenging and consequential: environmental politics and policy; and the politics of autocracy and democracy. Dr. Ding received her PhD in Government from Harvard University, and her BA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, earning a dual degree in Political Science and Russian and Eastern European Studies.
