The Center for Governance and Markets will host Mustafa Akyol, Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute, to discuss: The Judeo-Islamic Tradition: A Forgotten Story.
Akyol will discuss key ideas from his recent book, The Islamic Moses: How the Prophet Inspired Jews and Muslims to Flourish Together and Change the World. The talk will address historical episodes of coexistence and collaboration between Jewish and Muslim communities, drawing attention to how these experiences can inform current perspectives on governance and pluralism. This event is part of the Center’s Governing Deep Differences Speaker Series, which explores the ways individuals and communities create governance systems that promote peaceful coexistence and productive cooperation in diverse societies.
The first 10 people to register for the event (in person) and attend on the day will get a free copy of Akyol’s book.
